We just got word yesterday afternoon that we need to be in Xian on May 17th. Actually we were given the option of being there on the 10th or the 17th, which would have us leaving on the 6th or the 13th. I just found out that I need some physical theraphy after the accident so we decided to meet on the 17th so I could get a few sessions in before we travel. Hopefully the therapy will help with the shoulder pain.
Anyway, now starts the mad dash to get all the final details put in order and all the kinks ironed out. My oldest daughter Laura and her husband Joe will be watching Mari while we are in China. Laura has all kinds of fun stuff lined up for them to do. Mari won't have time to miss us! Of course, we will be in contact everyday so it won't seem so bad. It will probably be tougher on me than her since we haven't even been apart for more that a few days (and that was only twice LOL)

Vicki, I am so glad that everything is finally worked out so you and don can be on your way. It will be hard to leave Mari as I had to do the same with Sophia but it is just a short time. She will have a good time here too! Jill
